Summary
Field Instructors work a 2 week on, 2 week off shift. Our instructors live in the field and work directly with a group of clients during their two-week shift. They are responsible for the group’s medication distribution, overseeing meal preparation, leading daily group rituals, and the overall well-being of our clients. They also assist with teaching our clients primitive living skills, how to use their gear and equipment, completing their curriculum, and how they can be a contributing group member in order for successful growth in the program.
Compensation & Benefits
Our Field Instructor professional growth model is unique and inspires employees to grow as a Field Instructor and an overall person. Instructors start off at base pay. There are several different levels of Field Instructors ranging from “Assistant” to “Sage”. Apart from certain time frames, instructors have a lot of autonomy in their professional growth and in turn, their salary.
