Primary Therapist with Trails Momentum

Trails Momentum is actively seeking a highly motivated licensed therapist to join our Clinical Team. As a co-ed adventure-based therapeutic program, Trails Momentum offers young adults (aged 18-25) a life-changing opportunity for growth in the picturesque mountains of western North Carolina. Our comprehensive approach combines adventure programming, clinical services, traditional education, service-learning, community living, and family programming to empower students with the essential skills they need to thrive in their day-to-day lives.

As the Primary Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions on a weekly basis. Additionally, you will conduct on-site group meetings three days a week, maintain open lines of communication with family members, develop personalized treatment plans, provide supervision and training to frontline direct care staff, oversee phase work, perform crisis intervention when necessary, and maintain accurate records for each student. This position presents a unique opportunity to work alongside passionate professionals in the therapeutic outdoor adventure field, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience.

Qualifications:

·        Licensed (or provisionally licensed) as LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MFT, LCAS, or possess a similar state board-approved license.

·        Licensed (or provisionally licensed) in North Carolina or eligible for licensing in North Carolina.
